The modular construction — available as a single unit or as separate modules bolted and mechanically sealed together at site — directly addresses the practical challenge of installing large-area laminar flow ceiling arrays in operational hospital environments, where ceiling access routes and site logistics often preclude delivery of single large assemblies. Once assembled, all joints are mechanically sealed to be leak proof and airtight, and every weld and penetration is bubble tested to zero leakage criteria, ensuring the installed array performs identically to a factory-fabricated single unit. The central square or rectangular opening for surgical light provision integrates the laminar flow ceiling with OT lighting infrastructure without compromising filter coverage area or airflow uniformity — a critical design consideration in OT ceiling systems. Room-side filter replacement using quarter turn locks or quick clamping mechanisms, combined with a per-module test port for in-situ pressure drop measurement, enables filter maintenance and performance verification to be carried out without above-ceiling access in active surgical environments. The integrated DP switch for filter replacement signalling provides continuous condition monitoring and early warning of filter loading, supporting proactive maintenance programmes in high-utilisation operation theatres. SS 304 or RAL 9010 corrosion-resistant finish across stainless steel, galvanised steel, and mild steel housing options ensures the module maintains hygienic surface integrity across the full service life in the demanding thermal and chemical conditions of hospital HVAC environments.
