MEGA SYNPAK FILTER

The Mega Synpak Filter is a multi-pocket synthetic bag filter for HVAC and AHU applications, designed for medium to fine particle filtration. Available in efficiency grades from ePM10 60% to 90% (MERV 10–15), it offers reliable performance, high humidity tolerance, and operates up to 80°C. Suitable for various frame options and standard housings.

Advantages

The Mega Synpak Filter addresses the full medium-to-fine filtration range within a single product family, from M5/MERV 10 through F9/MERV 15, giving specifiers and system designers the flexibility to select the exact efficiency grade required for the application without sourcing across multiple product ranges. Its meltblown synthetic media construction produces a fine, three-dimensional fibre matrix that captures particulate across the full media depth rather than at the surface alone — distributing the collected dust load evenly, maximising dust holding capacity, and extending service intervals before the recommended final pressure drop of 1.20″ Wg is reached. The extended surface multi-pocket configuration amplifies effective media area relative to the filter frame footprint, providing the high filtration area characteristic of bag filters while remaining compatible with standard AHU side and front access housing arrangements. A specified maximum pressure drop limit of 1.80″ Wg — stated in addition to the recommended final pressure drop — gives facility and maintenance teams a clear absolute operating boundary for system protection and planned filter change-out scheduling. Synthetic meltblown media is unaffected by moisture, maintaining both efficiency and structural integrity at 100% relative humidity without the fibre migration, media compaction, or pocket collapse that afflict glass fibre bag filters in humid airstreams. Frame options spanning G.I., stainless steel, aluminium, and polystyrene with 20 or 25 mm header configurations ensure the filter can be matched to virtually any AHU housing standard. UL 900 classified flammability and triple compliance with ISO 16890, EN 779: 2012, and ASHRAE 52.2: 2017 complete a product specification suited to the broadest range of HVAC medium-to-fine filtration applications.
