The Aluneta is built around a fundamentally different material proposition from synthetic or glass fibre pre-filters — its slit and expanded aluminium media is inherently permanent, requiring no replacement, only periodic cleaning. This makes it the most cost-effective long-term pre-filtration solution for installations where access for filter change-out is difficult, maintenance downtime is costly, or consumable waste reduction is a priority. The graduated density multi-layer aluminium mesh construction captures coarse particulate progressively across the media depth, maximising dust holding capacity relative to the filter’s pressure drop, with a recommended final pressure drop of just 1″ Wg. The 200°C continuous temperature rating is the defining technical differentiator of the Aluneta — no synthetic, polyester, or standard glass fibre pre-filter can match this capability, making it the only viable washable pre-filter option for high-temperature industrial process air, oven exhaust recirculation, and elevated-temperature AHU applications. The all-metal construction — media and frame — ensures the filter retains its dimensional accuracy and structural integrity through repeated wash cycles and years of service without warping, corrosion, or media degradation. G.I. and aluminium frame options allow the correct material to be selected for standard or corrosion-sensitive environments. UL 900 certification and compatibility with side and front access housings complete a product that installs directly into existing AHU and air intake infrastructure while delivering permanent, high-temperature coarse pre-filtration performance.
