ULPA Minipleat Filters

The ULPA Minipleat Filter is a compact panel filter for terminal use in laminar flow and clean environments. Using micro glass fibre or ePTFE media, it delivers ultra-high efficiency (U15–U17) with ≥99.9995% particle capture at MPPS. Available in multiple frame options, it is individually tested to EN 1822 and IEST standards for reliable performance in critical applications.

The ULPA Minipleat Filter operates at the highest tier of air filtration performance, making it the preferred choice wherever particle concentrations must be reduced to near-zero levels. Its minipleat construction using hotmelt bead separators maximises the effective media area within a compact panel format, allowing high filtration efficiency without the pressure drop penalty associated with traditional separator styles. The choice of ultrafine micro glass fibre or ePTFE media extends its suitability to chemically aggressive or moisture-laden airstreams where standard glass fibre media would degrade. Two-component polyurethane bonding between media pack and frame creates a fully sealed assembly that prevents any bypass leakage — essential at U15 to U17 grades where even trace penetration is unacceptable. The continuous polyurethane or neoprene dovetail gasket ensures a leak-free perimeter seal against terminal diffusers and laminar flow housings, directly supporting room classification compliance in ISO Class 3 and above environments. Compressed metal mesh face guards on both sides protect the delicate media during installation and routine maintenance without obstructing airflow. The availability of incinerable wooden frames addresses the specialised decommissioning needs of nuclear and bio-containment facilities, while standard and custom depth options ensure compatibility with virtually any terminal housing or laminar flow ceiling system.
